TOPFLIGHT SCIENCE PROJECT

Topflight College Science department produced a Local/DIY/Home-made Air Conditioner using recyclable materials. The Project was inspired by the MakeIt Challenge organized by TeensCanCode and Lagos Innovate. The technology exhibition held took place at Josland Hotel, Gbagada and many participants were blown away (pun intended) by the invention.  The young scientists were honored for achieving inventing a DIY Air-Conditioner, which was described as an incredible feat never before imagined. Topflight College Science Department wishes to thank the teaching and technical staff and the Director of Students Affairs who sponsored the project.

BOOK READING CHALLENGE

Topflight College was one of the schools selected for a Book Reading Event organized by TOTAL LTD. themed "Read, Explain, Ask, Discuss". The Event challenges ten students to read a Story book titled "Zahrah the Windseeker" and participate in a discussion with other students across lagos. The book is about 360 pages long and tells the story of a girl born different and the challenges and journeys she goes through in her world to save her friends life. The book also contains pictures. Our students were thrilled to have received free copies of the book and put together an appreciation video to TOTAL LTD for the gift of free books. At Topflight College, we believe in encouraging an active reading Culture among our students.
